Non-invasive diagnosis of actual and potential disease activity using measurement of skin resistance at biologically active points and plotting average resistance as isolelectric line providing reliable diagnosis
24 biologically active points (BAPs) are selected and the skin resistance is measured at these points. The average resistance of the points is plotted as an isolelectric line and defining a normal corridor. A stimulation is applied to each of the points and the resistance is again measured after the stimulation. The results of the two sets of measurements are compared to carry out the diagnosis. An active electrode (1) is used to touch the patient's arm. A passive electrode (2) is attached to the wrist. A stabilizer (3) feeds a voltage to the system. Two resistors (4,5) are connected into the circuit with a microchip voltmeter (6) being connected across the second of the resistors to measure the current and determine the resistance.
