The winter sport device has a vibrator driven by an electric motor or combustion engine. This generates perpendicular or at an angle, mechanical vibrations at a relatively high frequency when the apparatus has a given contact with the snow surface. The user can preferably adjust the frequency and/or amplitude of the vibration.
