Hinge (100) for a concealed arrangement between a frame and a leaf, especially of a door or window, comprises at least one hinge arm arrangement that is pivotably mounted about a first frame pivot axis (Z) lying within the frame and a second leaf pivot axis (F) lying within the leaf, and elements for forced control of the pivoting movements about the two pivot axes so that at small opening angles of the leaf on pivoting the leaf the angular velocity at which the hinge arm arrangement pivots about the frame pivot axis is greater than the angular velocity at which the hinge arm arrangement pivots about the leaf pivot axis. An independent claim is also included for an alternative hinge.
