The tap consists of a main body (16) with water outlet pipe (12) having a downward-facing curved outlet section (24) with outlet (14). The outlet pipe consists of two relatively moveable tubular sections (20,22) connected via a plug or bayonet connection. This permits the outlet section to be pivoted upwards, with the outlet facing upwards, and to be locked in this position. The connection may be fixed or releasable. First and/or second section consist of several tubular part sections (30,32,34,36,38). The outlet pipe is of plastic, metal, or metal alloy.
