The picture frame has an insert drawer (4) attached to the back of the frame edge (1) to hold several pictures (3b) which are pressed flush forwards against the glass pane (2) through the flexible contact pressure tongues which are located inside the drawer. The pictures can be easily exchanged through the ergonomic access openings. The back of the frame can have integrated hanger openings for horizontal or vertical hanging.
