Coalface cutter advances along track supported by pivoting roller mount with elastic dampening bushes, dust and rock deflectors

A rail-mounted deep mine cutter advances along a conveyer track supported by a bogey with rollers front and back either side of a pivot (15). The pivot is attached to the machine frame (16). The rollers have elastic dampening bushes and roller bearings that absorb the impulses caused by the coalface cutter (4). The roller frame incorporates dust and rock deflectors.
