The floor covering protective frame consists of protective profiles which are fastened on a false floor slab on the upper side, and designed in such a way that the lower horizontal edge of the profile terminates flush with the outer side of the slab. The profiles in the upper horizontal region are designed with mushroom heads so that the intersecting edges of the floor covering are concealed beneath the head. A lifting out of the false floor slab from the refurbishment frame is still possible.
