The device has a vacuum container (1) to collect water from air containing humidity, where air is sucked in via an air inlet valve (4). A sensor (6) senses water level in the container, and activates a float switch that switches the device pressure from negative to positive. The air inlet valve is closed and a water draining valve (8) is opened to drain the water in the container.
