Propellant release display for rapid flame release contains a button which is normally kept in a rest position against the thermo element. When the propellant is released on starting up the appliance, the resultant pressure in the combustion chamber forces the tappet outwards. This motion disturbs the thermo element situated in a glass panel and its failure indicates release of the propellant.
