Electric kettle with ozone-sterilizing function comprises a housing (10) with lid (11), and below (10) a heating device (12); an electronic device in an insulting chamber; current supply and switch (15). The new feature is that it also includes an ozone generator (2) associated with an ozone supply unit (3), where (2) uses the same current source as the kettle and generates ozone when the kettle is turned on. (3) delivers ozone to the inside of the lower part of the housing, where it mixes with, and sterilizes, disinfects and purifies, the water.
