An inflatable fitness stepping equipment has two inflatable chambers (2, 3) linked by a flow control valve, either in a duct or in a wall separating the two chambers. The valve provides a preset resistance and the user steps on the two chambers with an alternate stepping action. The equipment is made of plastic and/or rubber and has an inflation valve (4). A pressure relief valve (7) prevents damage, e.g. when carried in the hold of an aircraft. A dual chamber design can be improved via an inflatable separating wall (5) not connected to either chamber and supporting the flow control valve.
