The load securing net (3) has two special expanding rubber bands (1,2) attached to the load space roof with an expansion of 220 per cent and mounted complete with pulleys, spring hooks and end fasteners. One expender band preferably has a diameter of 10 mm and a length of approximately 230 cm and the other a diameter of 10 mm and a length of 120 cm. An independent claim is also included for an automatic retaining arrangement.
