Lead cover for a gutter has grate with two outer edges bordered on each side by a run-off ridge and two guide rails set back opposite them typically on the underside of the cover
The guttering cover, typically made of lead, comprises a grate (1) which is bordered on its two long outer edges (5) by a run-off ridge (2) on each side, and two guide rails (3) set back opposite the outer edges, typically on the underside of the cover. The outer edges are bent 180 [deg] towards the outer edges and on assembly are bordered by guide rails which as a result of being bent by 90 [deg] run down the middle of the grate. Connections (4) are formed by the parallel material layers of the run-off ridge formed by the 180 [deg] angle, along their long side in the area between the 90 [deg] and the 180 [deg] surfaces. This prevents these layers of material being dislodged.
