The tile template is made from a stainless steel plate, with slots cut in it to guide the cutting tool in marking out square pieces of mosaic. The stainless steel plate is an angled to provide a resting rail for the tile being cut. There may be a wooden baseplate to lock the tile being cut, to be used with an L-section stainless steel rail.
