The wooden wall consists of parallel and abutting squared timber with a rectangular cross section, with slots on the end faces so that the pieces of squared timber can slide into one another and adjacent squared timber pieces are offset in relation to each other in the direction of the depth of the wall so that cavities are created in the wall on both sides in alternating fashion. The slots are of such dimension that adjacent pieces of squared timber are gripped tightly in the region of the slots.
