Composite print film, which can be applied to a substrate, comprises, in sequence, (a) a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film base, which can be peeled from the print on thermal transfer to the substrate by heating, (b) a TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) protective layer, forming an outer layer when the PET film is peeled off, (c) a thermoplastic resin layer and (d) a print applied using a computer controlled ink-jet printer.
