The support harness (10) has a trunk section (4) fitted around the trunk, coupled to a band (5) fitting around the top of the legs, via 2 belt loops (3) passed over the shoulders, the band provided with a pair of criss-crossing leg straps (8) fitting between the legs, each attached to the band at one end and secured to the band via a releasable fixing (2) at the opposite end.
