The conveyor belt (1) for the transporting of magnetizable products (2) has at least one permanent magnet integrated in it. The permanent magnet is embedded in a backing layer of the conveyor belt and covered by a cover layer in relation to the product. At least two permanent magnets are equally distributed at right angles to the direction of motion of the conveyor belt and disposed over the belt's circumference. The poles of the permanent magnets are orientated over the circumference of the conveyor belt to alternate in a north-south and south-north configuration.
