The system has a U-shaped glass facade unit (1) or a glass facade unit with a projected upper surface, where the facade unit is mechanically attached to a facade in a building via a fastening unit. Straps (3) are tightly bound to the facade, and are embedded in a strip of colored resin, where one part of each strap is fastened on the surface of the U-shaped facade unit or the facade unit with the surface using the resin e.g. adhesive.
