Painting template with attached contours of an image that is to be painted has an auxiliary sheet on the working surface of which the shape of an object to be painted is applied using narrow plastic strips. The working surface is covered with a protective film which is pulled back to permit transfer of the contour or shape to a blank sheet by pressure and or heat to form a contour.
