The matrix and electrode module, for electrophoresis, comprises a frame (20) with a recess (21) for a carrier plate set (10). A flap lid (30) is mounted at the frame, under the recess, as a swing recess closure. Two locks (41) are at the frame shoulders. A laying plate (50) fits into the recess, with an edge (51) at least at the under side.
