The tank has a framework (101) and a tank body (102) having an outer hull (110) with a cylinder (111) and two cap ends (112, 113). An interior container is connected to a cylinder (121) and two cap ends (122, 123). An isolation layer (104) is positioned between the outer hull and the interior container (120) and a supporting structure interconnects to the outer hull and the interior container. The supporting structure is a combined supporting structure being between the cap ends, the outer hull and the interior container at both ends of the tank. The forces can be taken up in a radial direction and in a longitudinal direction. The distance between the outer hull and the interior container amounts to no more than 50 mm.
