The safety belt fastening has an underpiece (4) with a receiving holder (40) with a semi-circular raised rib (49)on one side and several lengthwise grooves (43) to assemble stretch parts (42) on the other. Each stretch part has a pin, a runner (423) to push onto the pin, a protruding edge (424) to push into the slide channel (431) and a screw (422)fastened onto the pin. The screw is tensioned between the receiving holder and the runner to press one against the other. A covering part (3) is fastened on top of the receiving holder containing fixed and moveable pegs (31,311) which link to a connecting plate on assembly. A rotary piece (2) has a pin (341) at one end lying on the semi-circular rib and connecting plate and juts out of the cover at the other. A control grip (20) is situated on the rotary piece in order to turn it on assembly.
