The stools are designed to stack together in a vertical column. Each stool has a rectangular flat top of slightly smaller external dimensions than the rectangular frame (2) which supports it, leaving a shoulder (3) at the edge. The frame is attached to downwardly extending rectangular side walls (1) and end walls which are elongated at the corners to form L-section legs. The bottom edges of the legs fit onto the shoulders at the corners of the flat top of the stool underneath.
