The lifting device (1) for the lifting of objects to be relocated has a lifting element (2) which has at least one holding element (3) for the support of a section of a human arm in order to effect or support a movement of the hand of this arm if the hand grasps the object to be relocated. A holding element (3a,3b) may be provided for each arm. The holding element completely encompasses the arm section above the hand in the sense of a loop.
