The device has a housing (10) carrying a notebook computer, and having a dimension that corresponds to that of the computer. Cooling fans are provided in the housing. The housing is provided with two air inlet openings (101) in its upper side for the fans, and an air outlet opening (103) at its rear side, where a crack is formed between a lower surface of the computer and the upper side of the housing by a projecting slat (102).
