The vacuum cleaner bag assembly (1), with an inflow opening (3) and a filter bag (2) of a permeable material at least in zones and with a closure plate (5), containing a nonwoven cushion (4) of fibers treated with a drying agent, a biocide and an adsorbent. The nonwoven is of cotton, cellulose or synthetic fibers. The drying agent is a super-adsorbent and/or zeolite and preferably silica gel. The biocide is triclosan-impregnated fibers. The adsorbent is active carbon. The cushion is loose within the filter bag, composed of a number of layers where at least one has an electrostatic charge.
