The insertion aid consists of an upper and a lower part. Both parts are shaped according to the shape of the pipe in which they are to be used. The lower part is approx. twice as wide as the packer, the upper parts is of approx. the same size as the packer. The upper part is inserted complete into the flat liner, the lower part to approx. half its length. The liner is fixed to the upper part by a clamp. The packer is placed on the projecting section of the lower part, the part is raised, and the packer slides into the liner.
