The handheld tool has a housing (2) with a pistol grip and a trigger switch (25) directly connected to a control interface circuit (26) with a microcontroller. There is an additional switch (3) on top of the housing, connected to the control circuit. The control circuit has a connection to a main drive member (22) with a clutch (24). The drive motor (21) is connected to a torque measuring device which is connected to the input to the microcontroller. The motor has a small pinion (211) driving a large pinion (221) connected to the clutch, the tool drive shaft (23) and chuck (231).
