The radiator/panel has a pipe system with channels (8) connected to a heating/ cooling medium source, and insulation material (1). This is a flat part with a top surface (3) and a base (2), which has an aperture (4), open on one side. Part of the pipe system is integrated in the aperture, and the rear face (11) of a deflector material surface (10) is in contact with the pipe system. The radiator/cooling panel is self-supporting, or may be formed as a bearing structure with spacers, for connection to suspended ceilings and/or wall recesses, and floor supports.
