The apparatus has two sealing tapes (5, 6) inserted in a blind frame (1) of a window or a door. The tapes are placed on opposite sides of the frame and on the respective joining areas of a wall surrounding the frame. The tapes are connected with one another using a continuous intermediate piece (7) on a side facing the frame. The intermediate piece is made up of a material that is much harder when compared to the tapes.
