A bundle of firewood has a number of logs of about equal length arranged in parallel and held together by a first twin loop (1) and a second twine loop (2). The two loops are held in correct presentation by a third twine loop (3) under tension linking the first and second loops. The axial length of the bundle is 20-35 cm. The cross sectional area of the bundle is about 50 x 15 to 50 cm.
