A mowing bar (3) is connected to two flotation chambers (1) and a mowing bar holder (12). The mowing bar is driven by an internal combustion engine (2) e.g. water-cooled outboard motor, air-cooled lawnmower motor. The mowing bar is connected by adapters (5,6) to a drive shaft (4) and by supporting tubes (11) to cross beams (9) that interconnect the flotation chambers.
