Signals are picked up from an ASTRAsatellite system at a 19.2[deg] orbital position East of Greenwich with a satellite antenna (1), then split up via a feedhorn (2) and an Ortho-mode transducer (3) and, when polarized vertically and horizontally, fed to a waveguide filter diplexer (4), which splits frequencies up into upper and lower frequency ranges. Filters can be low-pass and band-pass.
