The method involves inserting a spoke attachment unit (12) in a spoke attachment chamber (7) through one of its openings (9, 9a, 10a, 10b, 27). The unit (12) has a head (13) suitable for being held inside the chamber at a spoke attachment seat (11). A shank extends through and protrudes from the seat for attaching a spoke. The unit (12) is guided to the seat and held facing the seat. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) spoked wheel product for a bicycle (b) a kit of parts intended for cooperation with a wheel product.
