The wall element is formed as a statically self-supporting structural preferably prefabricated element (1) with integrated heating pipe system (3) and made as steel concrete and/or prestressed concrete element. The statically self supporting element can be made from prefabricated shaped blocks and the heating pipe system is placed on the side of same facing the room to be heated.
