A drive device (12) fastens between two skis (1,2). A drive wheel structure maintains an active link with snowy ground. An electric motor has a drive coupling with the drive wheel structure. The electric motor and the drive wheel structure are enclosed by a frame structure and form a modular unit. An independent claim is also included for a drive device for a removable fastening on a linkage structure for a ski glide device.
