A compact mounting kit for a wall mounted compact heating unit, e.g. radiator, has a U-shaped straight rail (10) fitted vertically to the wall. A support grip (26) is fitted with adjustment to the upper end of the rail and grips the top of the heater. An angled support grip (20) is fitted to the lower end of the rail and has a downwards sloping section (52) which supports the weight of the heater. The angled support grip is secured to the rail by a [air of hooked tags (28) locating into a pair of parallel vertical slots (24, 34') in the rail. The mounting kit packs into a compact space for transport, e.g. into the hollow space inside the heater.
