The disposable storage container or can (1) has an attachment arrangement for a coin-like deposit token or is mechanically attached to a token and the token is reversibly joined to the can. The coin-like deposit marker is re-usable. The attachment arrangement can be a clamping arrangement (14a,14b) that is fixed to the can and reversibly joins the deposit token to the can. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method of implementing a deposit system for storage containers of a disposable system (2) and a receptacle for storage containers.
