The spray can is held inside an adapter (2) and a push bar (8) can be passed through the adapter base in order to lift the can through a holder ring (7) located above the adapter base until the spray nozzle is pressed against a spring-tensioned lever (1). This lever can be moved using a rod inserted into a socket (11) in the device in order to actuate the nozzle. An electric motor, e.g. servomotor (12) is mounted on the socket in order to convey the force.
