Osteosynthesis device, for trochanteric and subtrochanteric femur fractures, comprises locking nail receiving femoral neck screw, and fixing device containing stop element in the form of sliding inhibiting element with a fixing body
Osteosynthesis device comprises a locking nail (1) having at least one transversal bore hole (11, 13) for receiving a femoral neck screw (2) which is guided in an axially displaceable manner, and a fixing device for connecting the femoral neck screw to the locking nail. The fixing device contains a stop element (31) allowing the femoral neck screw to move axially when in a fixing position. The stop element is in the form of a sliding inhibiting element with a fixing body that can be at least partly elastically deformed as a result of a fixing clamping force. When the fixing body is in an elastically deformed state determining the fixing position, it engages with a sliding section (200) associated with the femoral neck screw in such a way that the retaining force resulting in axial fixation of the femoral neck screw is at least produced along the sliding section. This force is determined by a static retaining force and, as a result of stress, by at least one friction retaining force allowing a sliding movement which is inhibited in at least the axial direction.
