The closure sleeve is provided with a seal (4) and has radially movable tongues (6). The tongues are vertically aligned and have profiles (11,11a) which coact with catches (7). The tongues are rigid and may be formed by indentations in the wall of the closure sleeve. The fuel tank may be manufactured by blow or rotational method.
