The stand consists of a tube mounting (1), on the side of which an axial spiral spindle is fixed. The spindle end is pointed and the upper part of the mounting tube has a lateral handle (4). The axial spindle has a length of about 25-40 cm, and both the tube mounting and spindle may be metal and welded together. The length of the spindle conforms to the size of the sunshade. The tube and the spindle may also be made in one-piece from rigid plastics material. A clamping screw is arranged in the tube shaft in order to further secure the inserted sunshade.
