The cross section of the single extended piece is shaped like a fish spine, with oblique hollow fishbones (12-14), forming parallel symmetrical pairs from a common central channel (16). ALSO CLAIMED is a mould for fabricating the rough exchanger and a method for fabricating the exchanger, as well as a method for fabricating the rough exchanger in metal and a method for finishing it, together with a machine-tool making the exchanger from a mould.
