Gauge to measure the level of fuel in a reservoir and system for measuring the weight of fuel into the reservoir

The gauge has an internal and an external concentric tubes (14,12) made of an insulating material. An internal face of external tube includes two longitudinal bands (16a,16b) that occupy a same angular sector. An external face of the internal tube includes two conducting bands facing the electrode bands of the external tube. Each pair of bands constitutes a capacitor and a dielectric between the bands is constituted by air. An independent claim is also included for a system for measuring the quantity of fuel in a reservoir, comprising a gauge measuring the level of fuel in the reservoir.
