Shock absorbing body manufacturing method for bumper girder, involves folding two parallel partitions at right angle around pivoting axes passing through ends of cut lines and oriented along direction perpendicular to another partition
The method involves cutting a rectangular section having two parallel partitions projecting on a partition (9) that is perpendicular to the former partitions and parallel to a partition (14). The parallel partitions are cut along cut lines (L1-L8) and are folded at right angles around pivoting axes (MM, NN, PP, QQ) passing through ends of the cut lines and oriented along a direction perpendicular to the partition (9). Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a shock absorbing body for bumper girder of a motor vehicle (b) application of a shock absorbing body.
