The device has a gauge mark part (A) of less thickness and in the form of a truncated cone diverging along a direction from interior of an inlet/exhaust tube towards a combustion chamber. The part is mounted around an inlet valve (G) above the tulip (H) of the valve in a closed position. The part is terminated by a ring (B) in base part of downstream side.
