The process involves transmitting initial multimedia data packets to a stage for compression/decompression of packet headers. Additional information such as the reliability of the decoded bits, to be transmitted from a network access level to an application level, is simultaneously transmitted to a stage for producing the information in additional packets compatible with a network stack.
