Production of co-compost used as horticultural or agricultural fertilizer involves placing sewage sludge, green wastes and calcium magnesium enrichment in compost heap with forced aeration during fermentation
Production of a co-compost comprising a mixture of sewage sludge, green wastes comprising 4% structuring agents (bark or ground up palettes) and calcium-magnesium enrichment permitting stabilization of the product comprises placing the materials in a compost heap with forced aeration during fermentation, maturing and decomposing organic material. The product is treated with a basic calcium-magnesium enrichment and screened. . Production of a co-compost comprising a mixture of sewage sludge with a dryness below 30% dry material, green wastes (70.5%) comprising 4% structuring agents (bark or ground up palettes) and 10% calcium-magnesium enrichment permitting stabilization of the product comprises placing the materials in a compost heap with forced aeration during fermentation. A period of maturation of the product ensures a reduction in humidity to 40% and decomposition of organic material (C/N ratio = 10). The product is treated with a basic calcium-magnesium enrichment which allows a reduction in metallic trace elements and the product is screened. .
