Textile yarn dyeing procedure consists of winding yarn into skeins or onto perforated tubes and steeping in dye bath in mesh bags and baskets

The procedure consists of making the yarn into batches such as skeins (E) or windings on perforated tubular mandrels before steeping in a dye bath (4). At least one skein of yarn is put into a mesh bag (1) that is closed with a tie (2) while avoiding compressing the yarn. The bag is then put into a perforated basket (3) that is immersed in the dye bath. After the appropriate time the basket is removed from the bath, the bag is compressed and the tie is move along it to hold it in the compressed state, and the basket can be transferred, if necessary to another dye bath. When dyeing yarns wound onto perforated tubes the dyes can be injected through the insides of the tubes, which can have selected or random holes blocked.
